Executive KPI boards, composed on paper

Stacked volumes on a table in warm, dusty light
A pack should feel like a short volume, not a sheaf of exports.

Anatomy

A finished pack, page by page

This is what leaves the press. It is the physical shape of an Executive KPI Board, not a gallery of screens. If you already have a stack, bring it when you write to the studio; we will lay it beside a finished pack and mark the difference in pencil.

Shelved bound volumes, the weight a finished pack should suggest

Cover and circulation list

The cover names the entity, the meeting date, and the word “Board” so it cannot be confused with a management flash. Inside the front board is the circulation list the secretary signs against. If a name is not on that list, that person does not receive a copy from us. Drafts never use this cover.

A handwritten journal page, standing in for the marked headline sheet

Headline sheet

One page. Five to seven figures, each with a single sentence the ledger can support. A thin rule under the title, a thicker one above the first number — the same grammar as a morning paper. This is the page the chair can read aloud if the room is restless. Nothing else from the pack is repeated here.

An open book of dense type, like a department leaf

Department leaves

Each leaf uses the same column widths, the same period labels, the same ink for plan versus actual. A director who has learned finance can read operations without learning a new dialect. Favourite charts that failed the three tests live here only if they still change a decision; otherwise they do not live here at all.

A library aisle of bound paper, the annex kept apart

Annex, bound apart

Reconciliations, aged lists, covenant walks. Numbered. Referenced from the leaves. Never thicker than the pack it follows. Bound as a second slim volume so it can stay in the bag when the full board sits. The finance committee is the usual reader.

Paper, ink, courier

We print on stock that takes a pencil in the margin. Runs are collated on Kazbegi Avenue and couriered the day before the meeting, not the morning of. A paginated PDF goes to directors who join by line; if paper and file ever disagree, we reprint. We do not ask a table to squint at a revision sent at breakfast.

If this is the object you want on the table, the next step is a sitting, not a browse. See the boards we compose or send the pack you already use.
