The studio on Kazbegi Avenue

Panelmatrixbase Analytics began as a desk that helped two Tbilisi trading houses stop sending different cash figures to the same directors. The work looked like editing: compare extracts, choose a canonical column, print a page the chair could hold. It still looks like that. The studio now sits on Level 11 at 61 Kazbegi Avenue because the courier routes are short and the light in the afternoon is decent for proofing ink.

We are not a software house. We do not sell a login. We compose executive KPI dashboards as boards — headline sheets, department leaves, annexes — and we stand behind the type. Clients are manufacturers, professional firms, and trading companies whose secretaries still keep a circulation list on paper.

How the house works

Nino Kalandadze takes the first sitting and decides what earns page one. She trained as an accountant, then spent years rewriting packs that had been padded to look serious. Giorgi Tsereteli comes from a month-end close; he will not let a figure onto a leaf unless two extracts agree. Ana Beridze sits with chairs who want a person in the room the first time a new board is tabled. She used to clerk for a finance committee and still prefers a pencil to a pointer.

We take on a small number of first boards each quarter. The constraint is the sitting: a rushed cut produces a pack that looks tidy and still cannot be defended. If we are full, we say so and offer a date.

What we will not pretend

We will not claim that a handsome page repairs a late close. We will not decorate a number the ledger cannot support. We will not keep a favourite departmental chart on the headline sheet out of manners. Those refusals are the practice. The rest is paper, ink, and a courier down Kazbegi.
